Review of the Rubenfeld Synergy Method (RSM)

This is a review of The Rubenfeld Synergy Method (RSM).

I have personally been a client receiving this therapy for over five years. It has changed my life!

The gentle technique which combines touch and talk has allowed me to experience some major breakthroughs in dealing with past issues – some stemming way back to childhood.

I am fascinated on an intellectual level by the therapy… the session takes place with the client fully clothed and laying on a massage table. My session often begins with my therapist lightly touching my feet… then I am asked to bring my attention to my feet and describe what I am feeling…

The words I use to describe my feelings are then repeated by the synergist… and many times just hearing what I have said allows me to delve further and talk more about feelings and emotions. This can lead to a very deep sense of “unloading” pent-up emotions as well as self-discovery.

It is not unusual for me to cry during a session as the awareness of what I have been holding on to surfaces and emotions are dealt with and released. As different areas of the body are worked, I become aware of my physical and emotional self and am encouraged to talk about what I am experiencing.

The gentle and caring environment allows me the space to comfortably express myself. Often what I talk about are issues that are held or stored in my body.

Rubenfeld Synergy believes that the body always knows the truth. Being conscious of the body is all part of the process. Issues can be uncovered, worked on, and possibly resolved via these sessions. The depth of the emotional releases continually amaze me.

If you are looking for a unique therapy which gets to the core of many issues and has the potential to change your way of thinking and living, then The Rubenfeld Synergy Method might be for you.
